Privacy policy
Here you can read what information LIT Studio processes about you, why we do it and what rights you have.
Who we are
LIT Studio ApS, CVR 46632125, Istedgade 56A, 1650 Copenhagen V, Denmark, is the data controller when you visit litstudio.dk, book the studio or contact us. If you have questions about how we handle your information, write to contact@litstudio.dk or call +45 22 82 23 01.
When you visit litstudio.dk
We measure visits to the site with two tools that work without cookies: Vercel Web Analytics and our own visit counter. They record which page you look at, which page you came from, your approximate location (country and city) and what kind of device and browser you use. Your IP address is not stored, and you are not recognised from one day to the next. We use the statistics to make the site better, and the legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from misuse. Our fonts are loaded from Adobe Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them and, according to Adobe, does not store it.
Cookies and ads
With your consent, we use Google Tag Manager to switch on Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel. They set cookies and similar technologies that measure how the site is used and help us show relevant ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok and see whether they work. This can include your IP address, device, browser, the pages you visit and what you do on the site.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and the Danish cookie order), and you can withdraw it at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. For Meta and TikTok, we are joint controllers with the platform for collecting and transmitting the information from our site. After that, the platform processes it as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
When you book the studio
Bookings happen on booking.litstudio.dk, which we run together with TrendHub ApS, CVR 45895793, Ørestads Boulevard 73, 5., 2300 Copenhagen S, Denmark, tel. +45 52 61 64 30, a.k@trendhub.dk. TrendHub sells podcast and content sessions in the studio and handles payment, which goes through Stripe. Pop-up requests come straight to us.
When you book, we process your name, email, phone number, date and time, package, amount and booking number. We use them to confirm your booking, send you what you need for your session (such as the podcast studio manual), plan the studio and contact you about your booking. The legal basis is that this is necessary to fulfil the agreement with you (Art. 6(1)(b)). What we must keep under the Danish Bookkeeping Act, we keep to meet a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
LIT Studio and TrendHub are joint controllers for the information in the booking system and have an agreement on who does what. You can always contact us at contact@litstudio.dk, including about TrendHub's part.
When you contact us
If you write to us, call or send a message on Instagram, we use what you tell us, typically your name, contact details and your message, to reply to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)), or that you want to enter into an agreement with us (point b).
Instagram and Facebook
When you visit our profiles on Instagram and Facebook, Meta is the controller for what Meta collects about you. For the statistics Meta gives us about visits to our profiles, we are joint controllers with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, which is responsible for handling your rights. We only see totals and cannot tell who you are from them.
Our webshop opens soon
When the webshop opens, we will also process information about your orders, delivery and payment. We will update this policy with the details before it opens.
Who receives your information
We never sell your information. It is shared with TrendHub for podcast and content bookings, with the people who run the studio and get notified of bookings, and with authorities when the law requires it.
We also use suppliers that process information on our behalf as data processors: Vercel (website and statistics), Hostinger (email), Notion and OpenAI (our booking and customer overview and the booking system), a server provider with servers in Germany (the automation that sends booking emails) and Google (Tag Manager and Analytics).
Transfers outside the EU
Some suppliers are based or have servers outside the EU, especially in the US. Transfers are based on the European Commission's adequacy decisions, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your information
Booking information for 2 years after your session. Accounting records for 5 years after the end of the financial year, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires. Enquiries for 2 years after the last contact. Logs from the booking automation for 14 days. Cookies for as long as stated in the cookie settings, or until you withdraw your consent.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you and to have it corrected, deleted or restricted. You can have it handed over in a common format and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. If you have given consent, you can always withdraw it without affecting the processing that has already taken place. Write to contact@litstudio.dk and we will reply within one month.
We make no automated decisions about you that have legal effects or similarly significantly affect you.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, dt@datatilsynet.dk. We would like to hear from you first so we can put it right.
